Estudio Garrido advises CryoHoldco on Biocells purchase

Argentinian law firm Estudio Garrido has advised CryoHoldco de Latinoamérica on the purchase of 100 per cent of local stem cell bank Biocells.

Stem cellsBiocells is one of Argentina’s largest stem cell banks, and which grows and stores umbilical cord and placenta cells, and which are used for tissue and immunological system regeneration, as well as for the treatment of conditions such as leukemia and lymphoma. The stem cells are distributed to clients in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.

Estudio Garrido partners Diego Martín Garrido and Patricia Maccaferri and associates María Victoria Busnadiego, Mariángeles De Cesare, Gonzalo Devesa and Florencia Lera advised CryoHoldco.

Biocells was advised by Estudio GPG Advisory Partners, with partners Mario Pallaoro and Nicolás Garfunkel leading the team, which also included associate Agustina Giordano.
