Patricia Claudia Maccaferri

Ms. Maccaferri graduated as a lawyer at Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1995. She joined the firm in 2005, after having worked for another important Buenos Aires firm (Allende & Brea) and for a Labor Court.
Ms. Maccaferri has specialized in labor law. She furnishes day to day advice, regarding compliance, employee benefit plans, lay-outs and dismissals. She also represents clients before judicial courts and regulatory agencies and, also, in negotiations with unions and employees.
One of her specialties is the preparation of human resources policies, including bonuses and other benefits and the preparation of employment contracts, as well as the implementation of agreements inherent to labor benefits.
Over her career, she has handled numerous litigation cases. The cases in which she has worked include general lay-out and injury litigation as well as claims by managers and directors (such as those derived from stock option plans).
Also, Ms Maccaferri is actively involved in due diligence audits in the contex of M&A transactions, helping clients to asses labor and social security contingencies associated to target companies, implementing new labor policies and benefits, management agreement for the transition of the business to new owners, and advicing in complex reoganizations of the workforce.
