Enrique Garrido
Mr. Enrique Garrido graduated as a lawyer (Magna Cum Laude) at Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1963. He co-founded the firm in 2005, after having worked for another important Buenos Aires firm (Allende & Brea), where he was the managing partner.
Mr. Enrique Garrido has worked in a wide range of business legal matters. The legal areas most often touched by Mr. Enrique Garrido's experience are corporate law -stock purchase and shareholders' agreements, joint ventures, mergers and spin-offs-, oil and gas contract law and regulations, transfers of technology, finance, insurance and banking law.
Mr. Enrique Garrido has advised and represented local and international investors of significant magnitude, having been member of the boards of directors or supervisory committees of more than thirty leading companies, and acted in public bids, such as in the privatization process of state-owned companies of the telecommunications, gas distribution and transportation sectors, in debt rescheduling and business reorganizations, bankruptcies and other commercial litigation issues. Mr. Enrique Garrido has served as chairman of the Board of Directors of Telecom Argentina S.A.
Mr. Enrique Garrido is a member of the Unión Industrial Argentina Arbitration Panel. He is also member of the International Bar Association, the Club de Abogados de Empresa, the Asociación Argentina de Empresas de Telecomunicaciones, the Asociación Argentina de Energía y Recursos Naturales and the lawyers committee of the Asociación de Bancos Argentinos.
Mr. Enrique Garrido has lectured at numerous conferences.
