Jorge Daniel Caputo

Dr. Caputo graduated as a lawyer at Universidad Del Salvador in 1997 and received a post graduate degree in Labour Policies and Labour Economy at Luigi Bocconi Commercial University in Milan, Italy (1988). Additionally, he graduated with a Master's Degree in Environmental Management (UNLAM).

He was co-founder and senior partner at Vassallo, Caputo & Associates for 38 years and recently joined Estudio Garrido in 2016 after having focused his professional practice in a comprehensive range of legal services. He specialized in solving and "closing" conflicts through negotiations, mediations and court litigations, representing different medical institutions such as Clinica Bazterrica, Centro Medico Santa Fe, and DAICIM Foundation among others. He has represented clients managing controversial hereditary successions and legal proceedings regarding Consumer Rights in Labour cases both as plaintiff and respondent. He has acted as lead counsel for the Argentinian Real Estate Chamber and collaborated in the National Commercial Justice as auditor and controller. He has written articles on several legal and business publications such as La Ley, Real Estate Chamber magazine, "Incontri" (business magazine in Milan, Italy).
He has produced and hosted "Derecho & Justicia" a TV program for four years on Cablevision "P&E" and other TV Channels with an important impact on the specialized and general written press.
He served as counselor at Counsel of Magistrates of the City of Buenos Aires.
He has been actively involved in institutional activity with several positions, namely: vocal at the Civil Law Committee of Buenos Aires Bar Association and also Delegate at the Assembly of the Public Bar Association, subsequently becoming Counselor.
He has moderated several lectures at Public Bar Association, Magistrates Association and participated at USAL University as Professor of Contracts & Agreements and Constitutional Law.
He currently presides the Justice Committee at Buenos Aires Bar Association and advises several institutions and companies on serious controversial issues.
