Orange Equity Partners’ Acquisition of 5% stake in Argentina’s Rofex exchange
Orange Equity Partners has executed the acquisition of a 5% stake in Argentine futures exchange Rofex SA for about $10 million.
Orange Equity Partners acquired the stake from Bolsa de Comercio de Rosario, which now owns 37.6% of Rofex.
The stake sale follows Mercado A Termino De Buenos Aires SA approving a proposed merger with Rofex in a deal that will create the largest futures market in Argentina.
Orange Equity partners invests in public equity and fixed income markets. The firm also invests in notes, index options, stock options, and other hedging markets. It invests in value stocks of companies by employing fundamental analysis to create its portfolios.
Estudio Garrido advised Orange with a team including Gustavo Garrido (Picture), Diego Garrido, Lucas Granillo Ocampo, Maria Marta Cancio and María Victoria Busnadiego.
