Five Paintings from Estudio Garrido Abogados on Display at Fundación OSDE
The OSDE Foundation inaugurated the exhibition "La Imagen del Tiempo" on November 9th. The exhibition is dedicated to the work of Fray Guillermo Butler, an Argentine painter and Dominican friar. Five paintings from the OSDE collection are on display, along with works from other important museums in Argentina.
Fray Guillermo Butler (1898-1961) was a leading figure in the Argentine art scene in the mid-20th century. His work is known
for its religious themes and its depiction of the landscapes of Córdoba. He was awarded the Salón Nacional prize, the highest artistic award in Argentina, in 1925. He was also a member of the National Academy of Fine Arts.Estudio Garrido has a special and distinguished association with the art world. It has a collection of Argentine art comprising over 800 works. The firm has organized more than 40 art exhibitions. It was also hired by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires to develop the cultural district and its regulatory framework.
